7/21/26 Dubrovnik Croatia and Trebinje Bosnia Herzegovina

Surprise last minute decision visit to Bosnia

We visited The Franciscan Monastery & Old Pharmacy at Dubrovnik first in the morning. A gorgeous 14th-century Romanesque cloister that houses one of the oldest continuously operating pharmacies in Europe (running since 1317).

They have the 3rd oldest pharmacy in the world
And P went there for an antiseptic ointment to treat his wound that happened while he navigate the sea water at one of the Croatian beach

Trebinje Bosnia

…. After that we tried to figure out how to get to Bosnia and found out we can just hail a taxi… And for 200 euro, the driver can take us back and forth the town of Trebinje Bosnia with an hour of free time at the old town center and that sounds just perfect for us… Driving time each way is about one hour including custom clearance and border control

Our wonderful guide and driver Mario, city of Dubrovnik at the background
Drive passed lots of vineyards
Beautiful sceneries on the way
The blue booths are border control  between bosnia and Croatia
