7/3/26 Berlin Germany

The icon of Berlin

Checked out the rooftop of this hotel which is only 12 min walk from the train station

Now we are ready to check out Berlin… Packing this city into a single day is a whirlwind, but we will try

The Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor)

Start your morning early here before the crowds arrive. It’s Berlin’s most iconic landmark and a symbol of unity.

Stand right in the center under the Quadriga for the classic “We made it to Berlin” photo

Reichstag Building (German Parliament)

Head back past the gate to see the seat of German power.

Museum Island (Museumsinsel)

A UNESCO World Heritage site surrounded by the Spree River. Even if you don’t have time to go inside the world-class museums, the architecture alone—especially the majestic Altes Museum and the colossal Berlin Cathedral (Berliner Dom)—is breathtaking. Every where we look, there’s stunning buildings that wow us

Berlin Central train station

Highly functional that combines train station with shopping malls.

Checkpoint Charlie

the famous Cold War crossing point between the American and Soviet sectors. It’s touristy, but a must-see for first-timers.

Tried some special German food, delicious 😋

Bavarian meat loaf, taste like spam, we bought a slice and eat it with bread
