Fortica Fortress (Spanjola) – Perched high on the hill directly above Hvar Town, this 16th-century Spanish fortress is an absolute must-visit.
The fortress features old battlements, historical canons, and a tiny museum. The real draw, however, is the legendary panoramic view of the red-roofed town below and the string of Pakleni Islands out at sea.

Bought a combo ticket together with the fortress, the nice lady at the fortress give us the senior price even though we are not 65 yet 🙌🙌
St. Stephen’s Square (Pjaca) – The bustling heart of Hvar Town and the largest public square in all of Dalmatia.Paved entirely in smooth, gleaming white stone, the square is anchored by the beautiful Baroque St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the historic Arsenal building.
The Lavender Fields of Brusje – Hvar was well known for its lavender…. We did not check out the fields but we bought a small ball of lavender just to experience it’s smell and it smelled divine
